Sound Waves Festival announces Winter Edition line-up

Following the success of the 2024 Summer Edition in Esmoriz and the debut of the Winter Edition in Lisbon in 2023, Sound Waves returns to the Portuguese capital for its second Winter Edition. The event will take place on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, with over 10 hours of non-stop music from 8 PM to 6 AM.

The 2025 lineup promises to light up the dancefloor with top names in techno and hard techno. The Italian duo 999999999 will bring their signature acid techno, Bad Boombox makes his Portugal debut with a unique mix of rave and hardgroove, and Fantasm will deliver industrial techno sounds. Hades will raise the energy with his dark, heavy beats, while Lee Ann Roberts brings her contagious drive. Representing Portugal, Sound Waves resident Ornella will showcase her Schranz mastery.

Since 2005, Sound Waves has been a groundbreaking platform in electronic music, offering unique experiences with every event. Before the Winter Edition, the festival will close 2024 with two major events: XMAS Edition in Porto on December 21st and Sound Waves Invites in Coimbra on December 27th.

After the Winter Edition, the festival continues with an event in Porto on March 3rd, followed by the highlight of the year—the 20th anniversary celebration at Esmoriz on July 5th, 2025, bringing together techno lovers from all over the world.
